How engagements work
Start small. Grow only when it helps.
Work with Magnolia Systems is designed to start with a defined first step — an assessment, a readiness project or a workshop. If it goes well, it can continue as a managed service or a Magnolia Synergy subscription. Cost follows scope, and scope follows the size and shape of your business.
IRIS (Integrated Reasoning & Intelligence Steward) is our planning assistant. The scoping page saves your answers to your own computer as a file, then offers a link to email them to us.
How engagements run
You decide after each phase.
- 01
Scope
You describe the work on the IRIS scoping page and send it to us. An engineer reads it.
- 02
Proposal
We reply with what we would do, in phases, and what each phase delivers.
- 03
First phase
A defined piece of work with a written result.
- 04
Continue or stop
You decide after each phase.
- 05
Ongoing
If you want it, a managed service or a Magnolia Synergy subscription.
What scales scope
Cost follows scope.
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Locations and sites | Each one has its own people, devices, network and local systems |
| Users and devices | Sign-in, protection, support and licences are per person or per device |
| Systems to connect | Each connection is built, tested and maintained |
| Data sources and volume | More sources and more history mean more mapping and checking |
| Documents | Volume, size and sensitivity change storage, permissions and backup |
| Managed after delivery | Monitoring, patching and support are ongoing work |
A modernization review for 25 locations is not the same job as one for a single office. That is why we scope before we quote, and why prices are not published here.
Magnolia Synergy levels
Three levels, each supporting more.
Magnolia Synergy brings reporting, routine workflows and operating knowledge for a business into one place. It comes in three levels, each supporting more than the one before.
| Core | Pro | Autopilot | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who it suits | One business getting its numbers and routines in one place | Multi-location businesses with several systems | Businesses ready to hand routine steps to automation, with approvals |
| Products | One Magnolia Synergy product | One or more products | One or more products |
| Connected systems | A small set of supported systems | More systems, including custom connections | As Pro |
| Reporting | Standard reports and daily summaries | Custom reports and cross-location views | As Pro, plus exception alerts |
| Workflows | Checklists and tasks | Approvals and hand-offs between roles | Routine steps run automatically, and a person approves anything that changes data, money or access |
| Support | Standard support | Priority support and a named contact | Managed service included |
| What scales it | Locations, users, connected systems | Same | Same, plus automations in service |
